La historia
María sale de casa temprano. Lleva su teléfono y una mochila pequeña. Va a trabajar al centro. María espera en la esquina. Espera una combi. Es un autobús pequeño.
El autobús no llega. María mira la calle. Mira su reloj. Son las siete y media. Quiere llegar antes de las ocho. Está preocupada.
Un señor está en la tienda. Él explica el problema. "Hay muchos autos en la avenida. El autobús va despacio". María respira y espera un poco más.
El autobús llega. El conductor saluda a María. Abre la puerta. Hay espacio atrás. María sube al autobús. Paga y se sienta.
María ve tiendas y autobuses por la ventana. Ahora está tranquila. Llega al trabajo antes de las ocho. María sonríe y empieza su día.

María leaves home early. She carries her phone and a small backpack. She is going to work downtown. María waits at the corner. She waits for a combi. It is a small bus.
The bus does not arrive. María looks at the street. She looks at her watch. It is seven thirty. She wants to arrive before eight. She is worried.
A man is in the store. He explains the problem. "There are many cars on the avenue. The bus is moving slowly." María breathes and waits a little longer.
The bus arrives. The driver greets María. He opens the door. There is space in the back. María gets on the bus. She pays and sits down.
María sees stores and buses through the window. Now she is calm. She arrives at work before eight. María smiles and starts her day.
