La historia
María llegó temprano a la agencia de pasajes. Quería viajar a Cusco esa noche. Llevaba su celular y una mochila. También llevaba un cuaderno. En la oficina, vio varias salidas en una pizarra. Una vendedora le sonrió. Le dijo: "Buenos días. ¿En qué te ayudo?"
María pidió un pasaje para las nueve. La vendedora miró la computadora. Después imprimió el boleto. "Sale de la terminal de Plaza Norte", dijo. María respondió: "Gracias. Quiero llegar a tiempo". La vendedora le mostró el carro correcto.
María salió y buscó una combi hacia la terminal. Dentro iba gente con bolsas y cajas. El cobrador gritó: "¡Plaza Norte!" María escuchó bien, pero vio otra combi parecida. Se acercó a la puerta. Un señor le dijo: "Esa va a Carabayllo". María se quedó quieta. Leyó Carabayllo en el letrero.
María miró otra vez el boleto. Luego buscó Plaza Norte en el letrero de la combi. El señor le mostró la correcta. Le dijo: "Allí está". María sonrió y agradeció. "Gracias por tu ayuda. Hoy me salvaste", dijo. Subió a la combi correcta y se sentó junto a la ventana.
Cuando llegó a la terminal, vio su bus sin problema. Respiró tranquila y guardó el boleto en su bolso. Antes de entrar, mandó un mensaje a su hermana. "Ya estoy aquí", escribió. Luego pensó en su próximo viaje. Iba a revisar todo con calma.

The full story in English
María arrived early at the ticket office. She wanted to travel to Cusco that night. She was carrying her cellphone and a backpack. She was also carrying a notebook. In the office, she saw several departures on a board. A saleswoman smiled at her. She said: "Good morning. How can I help you?"
María asked for a ticket for nine o'clock. The saleswoman looked at the computer. Then she printed the ticket. "It leaves from the Plaza Norte terminal," she said. María replied: "Thanks. I want to arrive on time." The saleswoman showed her the correct vehicle.
María went out and looked for a van to the terminal. Inside were people with bags and boxes. The fare collector shouted: "Plaza Norte!" María listened carefully, but she saw another similar van. She approached the door. A man told her: "That one goes to Carabayllo." María stood still. She read Carabayllo on the sign.
María looked at the ticket again. Then she looked for Plaza Norte on the van's sign. The man showed her the right one. He said: "There it is." María smiled and thanked him. "Thanks for your help. Today you saved me," she said. She got on the correct van and sat by the window.
When she arrived at the terminal, she saw her bus without any problem. She breathed calmly and put the ticket in her bag. Before going in, she sent a message to her sister. "I'm here now," she wrote. Then she thought about her next trip. She was going to check everything calmly.
