La historia

Ana y Luis salen ahorita. Van al centro en camión. Ana lleva su celular. Luis lleva dinero y una lista. Quieren comprar un regalo.

En la calle, Ana mira una tienda. Ella dice: "Qué padre". Luis revisa la hora. Él cree que van tarde. El camión sigue lejos.

Luego, un vendedor les habla. Quiere vender pan dulce. Ana compra dos piezas. Luis compra café. Después, ellos comen en una banca. El regalo espera.

Más tarde, llega el camión. Ellos suben juntos. El chofer dice la parada del cine. Ana sonríe. Luis encuentra sus monedas. Llegan a tiempo y entran al cine.

The full story in English

Ana and Luis are leaving now. They go downtown by bus. Ana takes her cellphone. Luis takes money and a list. They want to buy a gift.

On the street, Ana looks at a store. She says, "How cool." Luis checks the time. He thinks they are late. The bus is still far away.

Then, a vendor speaks to them. He wants to sell sweet bread. Ana buys two pieces. Luis buys coffee. After that, they eat on a bench. The gift waits.

Later, the bus arrives. They get on together. The driver says the movie theater stop. Ana smiles. Luis finds his coins. They arrive on time and go into the theater.

The movie ends happily. Ana and Luis leave happy. They buy a juice at the corner. Then they walk home. They say the afternoon went very well.
