La historia
Rosa salió de su casa temprano. Iba a trabajar en una oficina del centro. Metió su celular, sus llaves y su billetera en su cartera. Luego cerró la puerta y bajó rápido por la escalera.
En la esquina, esperó la combi con dos vecinos. La combi llegó llena, pero todos subieron con calma. Rosa pagó su pasaje y guardó el vuelto. Después se sentó junto a la ventana.
Minutos después, sacó su celular para revisar la hora. Entonces tocó su cartera y se asustó. Su billetera ya no estaba allí. “Qué raro”, dijo Rosa. “La tenía hace un momento”.
Bajó en la siguiente parada y llamó a la señora del quiosco. “¿Vio una billetera azul?”, preguntó. La señora recordó algo. “Sí, alguien la dejó en mi mostrador. Venga rápido”, respondió.
Rosa caminó hasta el quiosco y revisó la billetera. Todo estaba allí. Sus documentos, su tarjeta y el dinero seguían completos. “Qué buena”, dijo. “Pensé que la había perdido para siempre”.
La señora sonrió y le explicó la confusión. La billetera había caído del bolso cuando Rosa subió a la combi. Rosa agradeció con una sonrisa. Luego volvió a la parada y tomó otra combi al trabajo.

The full story in English
Rosa left her house early. She was going to work in an office downtown. She put her cellphone, her keys, and her wallet in her purse. Then she closed the door and went down the stairs quickly.
At the corner, she waited for the combi with two neighbors. The combi arrived full, but everyone got on calmly. Rosa paid her fare and put away the change. After that, she sat by the window.
A few minutes later, she took out her cellphone to check the time. Then she touched her purse and got scared. Her wallet was no longer there. “How strange,” Rosa said. “I had it a moment ago.”
She got off at the next stop and called the woman at the kiosk. “Did you see a blue wallet?” she asked. The woman remembered something. “Yes, someone left it on my counter. Come quickly,” she replied.
Rosa walked to the kiosk and checked the wallet. Everything was there. Her documents, her card, and the money were still complete. “Great,” she said. “I thought I had lost it forever.”
The woman smiled and explained the confusion. The wallet had fallen from the bag when Rosa got on the combi. Rosa thanked her with a smile. Then she went back to the stop and took another combi to work.
