La historia

Entró a su cuarto, dejó la mochila en la cama y abrió la computadora. Buscó la lista de canciones que había preparado el día anterior. Entonces vio un problema. El archivo principal no se abría. Intentó otra vez, pero la pantalla mostraba un error. "No puede ser", dijo Lucía. "Hoy tenía que funcionar".
Su hermano Diego escuchó la voz desde la cocina y fue a verla. Lucía le explicó el problema. Diego revisó el archivo y movió los hombros. "Creo que este no es el correcto", dijo. Lucía arrived home on Friday afternoon with her cell phone in her hand. She was tired, but she was smiling. That night there was a party in her neighbor Marta's apartment, and Lucía had promised to bring music. On the way, she thought about a new song that she wanted to share.
She went into her room, put the backpack on the bed, and opened the computer. She looked for the list of songs that she had prepared the day before. Then she saw a problem. The main file would not open. She tried again, but the screen showed an error. "This can't be," Lucía said. "Today it had to work."
Her brother Diego heard her voice from the kitchen and went to see her. Lucía explained the problem to him. Diego checked the file and shrugged. "I think this one is not the right one," he said. "The good copy is in your email." Lucía opened her email, found another version, and breathed with relief. "How nice," she said. "I thought I didn't have it anymore."
