La historia
Rosa llegó a la oficina temprano porque tenía que entregar un informe antes de las cuatro. Encendió la computadora, abrió sus archivos y revisó las notas una vez más. La mañana había sido tranquila, pero ella sabía que la tarde iba a ser más difícil.
A las dos y media, buscó el documento final y no lo encontró. Miró en la carpeta correcta, luego en el correo electrónico y después en el escritorio. "No puede ser", dijo en voz baja. "Lo tenía hace un momento".
Su compañero Daniel se acercó y le preguntó si necesitaba ayuda. Rosa le explicó que el archivo había desaparecido y que el jefe esperaba el informe ese mismo día. Daniel le dijo: "Tranquila, vamos a revisarlo juntos". Esa frase la calmó un poco.
Revisaron el correo otra vez y encontraron un archivo adjunto con un nombre parecido. Rosa lo abrió y vio que era una versión vieja. Entonces Daniel notó que el documento nuevo estaba guardado dentro de una carpeta compartida. "Qué alivio", dijo Rosa. "Pensé que lo había perdido por completo".
Rosa corrigió dos detalles, añadió una tabla pequeña y guardó todo otra vez. Después envió el informe al jefe y miró la hora. Eran las tres y cincuenta y ocho. Sonrió y dijo que, después de esa carrera, se merecía un café bien frío.

Rosa arrived at the office early because she had to deliver a report before four. She turned on the computer, opened her files, and checked the notes one more time. The morning had been quiet, but she knew the afternoon was going to be harder.
At two thirty, she looked for the final document and did not find it. She looked in the correct folder, then in the email, and after that on the desktop. "That can't be," she said quietly. "I had it a moment ago."
Her coworker Daniel came over and asked her if she needed help. Rosa explained that the file had disappeared and that the boss was expecting the report that same day. Daniel told her, "Relax, let's check it together." That phrase calmed her a little.
They checked the email again and found an attachment with a similar name. Rosa opened it and saw that it was an old version. Then Daniel noticed that the new document was saved inside a shared folder. "What a relief," Rosa said. "I thought I had lost it completely."
Rosa corrected two details, added a small table, and saved everything again. After that, she sent the report to the boss and looked at the time. It was three fifty-eight. She smiled and said that, after that rush, she deserved a very cold coffee.
