Dos sillas para el almuerzo
Two Chairs for Lunch

"Mi familia viene a almorzar.
Entonces empezó a llover.
"Te invito a almorzar", dijo Martín. Julia sonrió y aceptó la invitación. Su libro podía esperar.

The full story in English
On Saturday morning, Julia was at home. She had a new book and wanted to read. Her neighbor Martín knocked on the door. He had two chairs in his hands and looked a little worried.
"Can you do me a favor?" Martín asked. "My family is coming for lunch. I need to take these chairs to the patio." Julia left the book on the table. She took one chair and went downstairs with him. The patio was on the floor below.
There was a table with plates and glasses on the patio. Martín put the chairs beside the table. Then it started to rain. They both looked at the wet plates. Lunch was in half an hour.
"We can eat at my place," Martín said. "But the table is very big." Julia opened the patio door. First they carried the plates and chairs. Then they lifted the table together. It went through the doorway without any problems.
They put the table next to the window. Julia dried the plates and Martín looked for a clean tablecloth. Soon everything was ready. Outside it was raining hard. Inside there was room for the whole family and one more chair.
"I'm inviting you to lunch," Martín said. Julia smiled and accepted the invitation. Her book could wait.
