La lista de mi abuela

My grandmother's list

1 · Spanish Story

Luego llamó a mi abuela.

Entre los tres, revisamos la lista. Corregimos dos apellidos. Mi abuela encontró un nombre faltante. Mi hermano dijo que vendría a casa mañana. Todos sonreímos.

Colgué el celular y sonreí. No había problema. Vamos a comer juntos.

He spoke quickly. He said that he did not understand a paper. I thought about a problem. Then he explained the truth. The list was for my grandmother's family.

My brother laughed. He told me: "It is nothing bad. I only need your help with the family list." I breathed calmly. My mother was close by and smiled. She said that she could look for the surnames.

He was looking for the cousins' names for a dinner on Saturday. My mother heard the call. She also wanted to help. She took the paper from the table. Then she called my grandmother.

I hung up the cellphone and smiled. There was no problem. Just a family call. Now everything was clear. On Sunday we will go to my grandmother's house. We are going to eat together.
