Una salida al cine
A Trip to the Movies
1 · Spanish Story
Volvimos a casa felices.

The full story in English
On Saturday afternoon, Ana and I left home. We wanted to go to the cinema downtown. We also wanted to have dinner later. I took my cell phone and a little money. Ana said that she would arrive at six. We liked the plan a lot.
I took the bus on the main avenue. There was little traffic and the trip was calm. I got off near the square. I wrote to Ana, but she did not answer. I thought that she was close. The driver greeted everyone. The music sounded soft.
After that, Ana called me on the phone. She was in front of a pharmacy. I was on another street, near the cinema. We both looked at the cell phone and did not understand the address well. I took my jacket, just in case. I waited a minute. Ana sounded calm.
Then Ana walked to the corner. I saw her from the sidewalk. The problem was simple. She had read the address wrong on the cell phone. The correct street was two blocks away. We laughed a little.
We met in front of the cinema. We went into the cinema five minutes late. The movie had not started yet. We bought popcorn and water. After that, we had dinner in a small restaurant and talked about the evening. The cinema was full. But there were good seats. We went back home happy.
