La historia
Hoy, Laura tenía una entrevista de trabajo en el centro. Era un día muy soleado. Salió temprano con su carpeta y su celular. En la estación, miró el horario y esperó el autobús. Había otras personas. Todas miraban la calle.
Llegó un autobús, pero ella subió al primero que vio. El conductor dijo: "Este va al hospital". Laura se quedó quieta y miró otra vez el letrero. Entonces entendió su error. El número era parecido.
Bajó rápido y caminó hasta la otra parada. Allí preguntó a una señora. La señora sonrió y le indicó el autobús correcto. "Este sale en dos minutos", dijo. Laura esperó tranquila y respiró hondo.
Cuando subió, vio un asiento libre junto a la ventana. El viaje fue tranquilo. Ella revisó su carpeta. Miró el reloj dos veces. Diez minutos después, bajó frente a la oficina. La mujer del mostrador la saludó con una sonrisa. Ella mostró su identificación.
Laura entró y mostró sus papeles. La entrevista empezó bien. La jefa le dijo: "Llegaste a tiempo". Laura sonrió. "Sí", respondió. "La parada correcta me ayudó mucho".

Today, Laura had a job interview in the center. It was a very sunny day. She left early with her folder and her cellphone. At the station, she looked at the schedule and waited for the bus. There were other people. All of them looked at the street.
A bus arrived, but she got on the first bus she saw. The driver said, "This goes to the hospital." Laura stood still and looked at the sign again. Then she understood her mistake. The number was similar.
She got off quickly and walked to the other stop. There she asked a woman. The woman smiled and showed her the correct bus. "This leaves in two minutes," she said. Laura waited calmly and took a deep breath.
When she got on, she saw an empty seat by the window. The trip was calm. She checked her folder. She looked at the clock twice. Ten minutes later, she got off in front of the office. The woman at the counter greeted her with a smile. She showed her ID.
Laura went in and showed her papers. The interview started well. The boss told her, "You arrived on time." Laura smiled. "Yes," she replied. "The correct stop helped me a lot."
