A1 · Chapter 3 of 3 · Edition 1

De vuelta a casa

Back home

Ahora quiero volver a mi casa —dice.

The country mouse looks at his friend. He no longer wants to return to the pantry. The cheese is good, but he cannot eat peacefully there. ‘Thank you for the food. Now I want to go back home,’ he says.

He leaves the city and returns to the country. His home is still the same: it is small and is in the ground. His food is simple too. He has pulses, but he has no Dutch cheese or ham.

The mouse sits down and eats without fear. Now he is happier with his home. He likes good food, but for him it is more important to live peacefully.
