Alicia estaba junto al río mientras su hermana leía un libro sin dibujos. Se aburría cuando, de repente, vio un conejo blanco con un reloj. El animal hablaba y parecía tener mucha prisa. Alicia lo siguió hasta una madriguera. Entró sin pensar y cayó por un túnel profundo.
Al llegar abajo, encontró una llave y miró a través de una puerta pequeña. Al otro lado había un jardín precioso, pero ella no cabía. Una bebida la hizo más pequeña. Entonces recordó que la llave seguía en la mesa, lejos de sus manos. Comió un pastel y empezó a crecer otra vez.
Alice was beside the river while her sister read a book without pictures. She was bored when she suddenly saw a white rabbit with a watch. The animal was talking and seemed to be in a great hurry. Alice followed it to a burrow. She entered without thinking and fell down a deep tunnel.
When she reached the bottom, she found a key and looked through a small doorway. On the other side was a beautiful garden, but she could not fit through. A drink made her smaller. Then she remembered that the key was still on the table, far beyond her reach. She ate a cake and began to grow again.
