Advice in the woods

Las lágrimas de Alicia acabaron formando el charco en el que, al encogerse de nuevo, estuvo a punto de ahogarse. Después de alcanzar la orilla con otros animales, siguió internándose en aquel mundo imprevisible. Una oruga, acomodada sobre una seta, le exigió que dijera quién era. La pregunta resultaba menos sencilla de lo que parecía: ¿cómo definirse cuando hasta el propio cuerpo se transformaba sin aviso?

Gracias a las indicaciones de la oruga, Alicia fue dominando poco a poco los efectos opuestos de la seta. El gato de Cheshire le planteó otra dificultad: no bastaba con pedir un camino sin saber adónde deseaba llegar. Mientras el animal desaparecía y dejaba suspendida su sonrisa, Alicia descubrió que aquellas conversaciones extrañas también podían obligarla a pensar con mayor precisión.

Alice’s tears ended up forming the pool in which, when she shrank again, she almost drowned. After reaching the shore with other animals, she continued deeper into that unpredictable world. A caterpillar, comfortably settled on a mushroom, demanded that she say who she was. The question was less simple than it seemed: how could she define herself when even her own body changed without warning?

Thanks to the caterpillar’s instructions, Alice gradually mastered the mushroom’s opposite effects. The Cheshire Cat presented her with another difficulty: it was not enough to ask for a path without knowing where she wanted to arrive. As the animal disappeared, leaving its smile hanging in the air, Alice discovered that those strange conversations could also force her to think more precisely.
