Elizabeth viaja con sus tíos y visita Pemberley, la casa de Darcy. Cree que él no está allí. Una empleada habla muy bien de él. Elizabeth lo encuentra por casualidad y él es amable con todos. Elizabeth travels with her aunt and uncle and visits Pemberley, Darcy’s home. She believes he is not there. A servant speaks very well of him. Elizabeth meets him by chance, and he is kind to everyone. She begins to see him differently. But terrible news arrives: Lydia, her sister, has run away with Wickham.
The family fears a scandal. Wickham has debts and does not want to marry. Elizabeth returns home. Darcy secretly searches for the couple and pays Wickham’s debts. He also helps to arrange the marriage. At first Elizabeth does not know who has solved the problem. Later she learns the truth.
