La isla del tesoro

A2 · Chapter 2 of 4 · Edition 1

El plan de Silver

Silver’s plan

Adapted from Treasure Island, by Robert Louis Stevenson.

Jim was looking for an apple inside a barrel when he heard Silver talking with other sailors. Fortunately, he was hidden. The cook wanted to wait until they found the treasure before taking over the ship. Then the men loyal to the captain would be in danger. Jim understood that Silver’s friendship did not guarantee his safety.

He managed to warn Smollett in time to prepare a defence. On reaching the island, Jim accompanied the sailors ashore but moved away from them. There he found Ben Gunn, abandoned for years. Meanwhile, his friends occupied a fort. The search for treasure turned into a struggle to survive.
